Nuclear Medicine Technologist

This 13-week contract position offers weekly compensation up to $3,720 and requires travel to Rancho Mirage, CA. The role involves delivering high-quality nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic services to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, including scheduling and pre-procedure instructions
• Operate nuclear medicine cameras and auxiliary imaging equipment following protocols
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to radiation safety regulations
• Demonstrate proficiency in all nuclear medicine procedures, including patient positioning
• Calibrate and prepare radiopharmaceutical materials for administration
• Calculate patient study results and account for radioactive decay
• Review instrument calibration data and report malfunctions
• Monitor patients' physiological status during procedures
• Maintain proficiency in IV line placement and proper injection techniques

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology
• ARRT, NMTCB, or ASCP certification
• California State license
• American Heart Association BLS certification

Preferred Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience preferred
