Associate Director, Biostatistics

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director of Biostatistics to support clinical trial design, statistical analysis, and regulatory submissions across oncology, hematology, and other therapeutic areas. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional development teams and may include indication-level leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on clinical trial design, study population selection, and endpoint definition
• Author and review protocols, statistical analysis plans, and clinical study reports
• Present data and analysis results clearly to internal and external audiences
• Manage multiple studies to ensure consistency with standards within indication areas
• Support health authority requests, publications, and regulatory submissions

Requirements

• PhD with 6+ years or MS with 8+ years in statistics, biostatistics, or related field
• Clinical trials, drug development, or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation
• Expertise in statistical and clinical trials methodology for drug development
• Understanding of regulatory landscape and health authority interactions
• Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and project management skills
• People management experience preferred for manager-track positions

Compensation: $189,670–$229,834
