Registered Nurse- Operating RoomSailsbury, Maryland Pay From: $48 per hourMUST:Experienced Registered NurseMust have 3 plus years of experience as Operating Room RegisteredMust have Circulating experienceMust have Preop/Pacu experienceMust have a valid and good stand Maryland Registered Nurse LicensureMust have active BLS and ACLSDUTIES:Work with all members of the health care team to provide optimal care to the patient throughout his/her surgical experienceMaintain a friendly, positive and caring attitude with all patients, physicians and staffMaintain excellent physical and mental healthProvide patient education during all phases of the patient experience at the CenterRequires the ability to assists the physician during surgery and procedures by functioning in the circulating roleThe position coordinates the activities of the Anesthesiologist, Surgical Technologist, and Surgeon to ensure safe patient careRequires the ability to ensure patient safety through appropriate transport, transfer and positioning of patientRequires the ability to ensure appropriate levels of supplies and equipment to provide safe patient careRequires the ability to monitor the environment to ensure sterile technique is maintained throughout the procedureRequires the ability to operate and trouble shoot OR surgical equipmentRequires the ability to perform professional intra-operative nursing care of the patient by utilizing the nursing care process and making a plan for patient careMust be flexible, and open to change along with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environmentMust be able to work in with other nursing staff in the pre-op, OR, and PACU, as well as with ancillary staff, to provide safe, efficient patient care
