Animal Care Center at Cherry Way is a busy four-doctor veterinary hospital offering grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare alongside full medical care. We’re looking for a skilled, caring Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team part-time. If you enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and love both animals and client service, you’ll fit right in. At about 15 hours a week, this role is a great fit for anyone wanting to stay hands-on in veterinary medicine on a part-time schedule. Why You’ll Love It Here A part-time schedule. About 15 hours a week, with a mix of morning and afternoon shifts and Saturday morning rotations. Hands-on clinical work. As a Veterinary Assistant here, you’ll help with exams, treatments, surgeries, lab work, and radiographs. A full-service hospital. What You’ll Do Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and surgeries Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs Monitor patients throughout their care Administer medications and vaccines as directed Communicate with clients about patient care and home instructions Keep the hospital clean, organized, and equipment ready Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.
