Certified Surgical Technologist – Cardiovascular Operating Room
Schedule: 4-10s with a rotating call schedule
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40
Requirements:
- Active Colorado Certified Surgical Tech (CST) License (DORA)
- Certification in Surgical Technology from the NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
- Specific CVOR experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team in preparing for procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure that surgical instruments are handled correctly.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
- Perform proper instrument counting before and after the procedure.
- Collaborate with team members to support patient safety and care.
Compliance / Notes:
Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
