Regional Field Service Manager (Altra)

Overview The Regional Field Service Manager will guide regional execution, support team development, and strengthen service to key retail partners. This position supports the Retail Marketing Team by leading Field Services within an assigned region and helping bring the Altra brand strategy to life across the U.S. and Canada. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Field Services at Altra, based in the company’s headquarters in Denver, CO, and requires frequent travel, including overnights and weekends, approximately 50% of the time. Responsibilities Achieve goals set forth in the strategic plan, including enhancing and building account relationships, seasonal Go‑to‑Market and growth strategies and development of wholesale activation strategies. Manage, mentor and train internal tech team and determine the team structure that aligns to future distribution and brand strategy; including hiring new talent and managing objectives and goals set forth in employee performance reviews. Conduct in‑field ride‑alongs to provide coaching and mentorship for assigned Field Services. Develop regional service plans by territory to align with Altra's and VF’s seasonal initiatives and financial targets by region, in coordination with sales and marketing managers. Plan and execute regional market takeovers while identifying ways to elevate the effectiveness of these initiatives. Support the implementation of strategic service strategies with key partners including REI, Fleet Feet, Dick’s Sporting Goods and other key account and independent retailers. Create and track weekly, monthly and quarterly service goals that tie to strategy and individual rep performance. Conduct performance reviews in a timely manner using the VFC directed methods. What success looks like Field Services achieve their quarterly service goals and KPIs. Successfully plan and execute the targeted number of takeovers as established by the Retail Marketing Strategy. Drive continued sell‑through and market share growth at key retailers in the assigned territory and region. Establish meaningful relationships with key retailers to align on strategic priorities and needs. Integrate with Denver HQ and bridge the gap between the region and headquarters. Qualifications +5 years of experience and professional achievements in field marketing or sales, with at least one year of people‑management experience. Familiarity with the Altra product line. Demonstrated team leadership skills and a propensity to lead and mentor others. Proven ability to create and implement winning sales strategies and communicate results clearly. Strong time‑management, planning and organizational skills. Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook. Self‑motivated with initiative and proactive attitude. Passion for running and a desire to share that passion with others. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high‑performing teams, focusing on accountability and continuous improvement. Experience managing performance through clear goal setting, regular feedback, and data‑driven coaching. Proven ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment that builds trust, engagement and retention. Strong conflict resolution and decision‑making skills with the ability to navigate challenges and lead through change. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $101,952‑$127,440 annually.
