Salesforce Solutions Developer - Rutherford

Salary: $74,000 - 114,000 per year Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including personally building Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC) solutions.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I; Platform Developer II and JavaScript Developer 1 certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud; experience with Agentforce, Einstein AI, or other Salesforce AI capabilities is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to independently own solutions from design through production support.
• Strong communication skills and experience translating business requirements into technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with SOQL/SOSL, Flow, REST/SOAP API integrations, and the Salesforce security and sharing model.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits, security, and sharing models.
• Bachelors degree required.
• Based in the NY/NJ area and able to work from the office as required.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processes for scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Build and maintain Lightning Web Components that deliver intuitive, high-performing user experiences.
• Develop and support solutions across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud, including case management, automation, and campaign functionality.
• Build and configure Agentforce and other AI capabilities for customer service and marketing initiatives.
• Design scalable Salesforce data models that address business needs, security, reporting, and platform performance.
• Write and optimize SOQL/SOSL queries, following governor-limit and bulk-safe development practices.
• Select appropriate declarative approaches, such as Flow, validation rules, and approval processes, or custom development.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Own Salesforce solutions throughout their lifecycle, from requirements gathering and development to deployment and production support.
• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and explain technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language.
• Troubleshoot production issues, take part in code reviews, and contribute to platform best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder demonstrations.
