Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative – Online Sales is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to customers purchasing Spirit Fitness products through online sales channels. This position serves as a key point of contact throughout the customer’s purchasing experience, assisting with product questions, order placement, shipping and delivery concerns, replacement parts, warranty inquiries, and post-sale support.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with the warehouse, shipping department, parts department, and other internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Online Sales and Customer Support

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries received through email, phone, online marketplaces, and other online sales channels.
• Assist customers with product information, features, specifications, availability, pricing, and compatibility questions.
• Guide customers through the online purchasing process and assist with order-related questions or concerns.
• Review and process online orders to ensure order accuracy and proper fulfillment.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Spirit Fitness products, promotions, policies, and available services.
• Follow up with customers as needed to ensure questions and concerns have been resolved satisfactorily.

Order Processing and Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping departments to ensure online orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.
• Monitor inventory availability and communicate potential shortages or backorders to customers and internal teams.
• Assist with resolving order discrepancies, shipping errors, damaged shipments, and missing items.
• Communicate special shipping instructions or customer requirements to the appropriate departments.
• Track order status and provide customers with timely updates regarding their shipments.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve fulfillment issues and improve the overall customer experience.

Freight and Delivery Support

• Assist customers with freight shipment questions, delivery expectations, and tracking information.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal shipping personnel regarding delivery issues, damages, missed deliveries, and other transportation concerns.
• Help customers understand delivery requirements and ensure appropriate information is communicated prior to shipment.
• Assist in resolving freight-related customer concerns and communicate necessary information to the appropriate carrier or internal department.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery issues and resolutions.
• Escalate technical or product-related concerns to the appropriate department when necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service, e-commerce, online sales, order processing, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with fitness equipment, replacement parts, freight shipments, or warranty processing is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to handle customer complaints and challenging situations professionally.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working with computer systems, order management systems, inventory systems, and online sales platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with multiple departments.
