What you’ll Do Case management from inception through post-trial. Assist with drafting, formatting, and proof-reading legal documents and correspondence. Assist attorneys with preparation for depositions, hearings, and mediations. Review and organization of document production. Draft and respond to written discovery. Assist attorneys with motions by proofreading and compiling exhibits. Assist with all aspects of trial preparation. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts regarding case updates and scheduling. Calculate damages such as lost wages and medical expenses. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate. 3+ years’ experience in civil litigation. Working knowledge of court rules and civil procedures. Proficient with MS Office Suite, and willingness to learn new software systems. High level of integrity, discretion, and ownership of work product. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment. Sound judgment and strong analytical thinking skills. Strong work ethic and motivation to take initiative. Hourly pay range of $38-$48, depending on experience (overtime paid at 1.5 the hourly rate) Generous benefits package includes full health coverage and paid vacation time.
