Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting throughout all stages of the labor and delivery process
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, interpreting fetal monitoring strips and responding to changes in patient condition
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other obstetric procedures as directed by the care team
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin protocols in accordance with facility policies and physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, midwives, and support staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• BLS and other required certifications must be current prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and high-risk obstetric patients
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with oxytocin administration and labor augmentation protocols
