About the Position

TRAVEL - ECHO/VASCULAR TECH - 7A-7:30P Fri-Sun

Key Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound and imaging equipment to perform echocardiograms or general vascular/radiology exams.
• Review images for quality and diagnostic value.
• Identify normal and abnormal structures, summarizing findings for attending physicians or cardiologists.
• Prepare and educate patients before and during procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certifications: Active ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or CCI registry specific to Echo/Vascular, plus American Heart Association BLS/CPR.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related science or allied health discipline.
