SAP Fico Consultant

SAP FI / S4HANA Finance ConsultantLocation: Plano, TX (Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Pay Range: $50 - $55 an hour on W2 or C2C8+ years of SAP FI experience with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations and AMS/Production Support engagements.Strong accounting background with knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Intercompany Accounting, Month-End Close, Accruals, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.Experience in enhancements, production support, incident resolution, and continuous improvements in SAP Finance landscapes.Support and enhance SAP S/4HANA Finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Financial Close activities.Analyze business requirements and provide scalable SAP FI solutions for new projects, enhancements, and process improvements.Work closely with business users during requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment.Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.Monitor and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.Manage integration between SAP S/4HANA and external/source applications, ensuring accurate data flow and reconciliation.Analyze inbound and outbound interfaces, data mappings, validation rules, and integration job failures.Collaborate with technical, middleware, and external vendor teams to resolve interface and data issues.Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production deployment activities.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and internal controls.Mandatory Skills:SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) with strong expertise in:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Intercompany AccountingFixed Assets (FA)Bank Accounting and ReconciliationsStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.Experience supporting SAP integrations with external systems through APIs, middleware, IDocs, OData services, or batch interfaces.Ability to track data flow from source systems to SAP, perform reconciliation, and troubleshoot posting failures.Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori applications and S/4HANA business transactions.Experience in AMS/Production Support environments with incident, problem, and change management.Strong knowledge of month-end close, accruals, prepaid accounting, auto-clearing, and reconciliation processes.Preferred Skills:CPA, CA, CMA, MBA Finance, or Accounting degree.Experience in Auto Finance, Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.Knowledge of SAP APIs, OData services, SAP CPI/PO integration platforms.Experience with Agile/Scrum and Jira.Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.Key Competencies:Strong accounting and financial process knowledge.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Production support and incident management expertise.Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.Company Benefits & Culture:Opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.Supportive and collaborative work culture.
