Housekeeper - Part-time Location: Sykesville, Maryland About the Role: Copper Ridge Nursing & Assisted Living Center is seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. Responsibilities: Clean and maintain patient rooms, offices, and common areas, including vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, and straightening items Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services to ensure a smooth operation Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow and customer satisfaction Maintain work and storage areas in a clean, neat, and sanitary condition Perform daily cleaning assignments, including disposing of garbage and maintaining a safe and odor-free facility Clean up spills and soiled areas as observed or directed Maintain flexibility and adaptability to change, and work independently with minimal supervision Requirements: High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions Effective verbal and written English communication skills Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to function independently and work effectively with staff and vendors Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet Preferred Skills: Environmental Service experience in a long-term care setting preferred, but not required Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $16 401k, health, life, vision, and dental insurance PTO (paid time off), overtime pay, and TapCheck Premium holiday pay, disability insurance, and stability in a strong leadership team COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Per the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, COVID-19 vaccines or an approved exemption are mandatory and are a requirement to work in our community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
