Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry | Float Pool | Nights

Location

Tucson, AZ | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36–48 hours per week | Six weekend shifts per six-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care at a 6:1 patient ratio
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Float between multiple facilities as required — this is a Float Pool position

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN License required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Must be willing and able to float between multiple acute care facilities in the Tucson area

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
