Physical Therapist

This position is located within an Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Team.

Number of Beds: 10

Number of Staff: 6

Type of Staff: Occupational Therapists, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapists

Patient Ratios: 1 Therapist / 4 patients

Type of Equipment: Standard therapy gym equipment

EMR: Meditech for billing only; all documentation is on paper.

Essential Skills:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Georgia

Preferred Skills:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Acute care rehabilitation experience

Common Procedures:

• Gait training
• Therapeutic exercises
• Activities of Daily Living (ADL) training
• CARE and FIM assessments

Work Schedule:

• Work hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• 1-hour lunch break included
• Perform evaluations and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants according to APTA standards

Dress Code:

Required attire is navy blue scrubs.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements:

No weekend or on-call duty is required.
