You will service both internal Insight teammates and customers on site. Responsibilities Perform necessary hardware and peripheral repairs, diagnosing issues and determining efficient, cost‑effective solutions to minimize downtime. Install and test system hardware at customer sites, setting up equipment, verifying operation, and troubleshooting problems. Complete all required documentation for service calls to ensure accurate billing and timely return of defective products or parts, following Insight and vendor policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, or 3-4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with LANs, WANs, personal computers, messaging, and server software applications. Knowledge of cable plants, network services, email, bulletin boards, and CD-ROM libraries.
