Salary Range $19.50 - $38.80 Hourly Position Type Full-Time Job Shift Afternoon/Evening/Late Night (+Weekends)

Essential Job Functions

• Competently utilize all Dacotah Dining kitchen stations.
• Work any station and shift as needed.
• Take direction from Chef de Cuisine and Lead Line Cook.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

• Prior line cook experience at a full service restaurant preferred.

Skills, Knowledge & Attributes

• Strong culinary, knife and cooking station skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational skills and sense of timing.
• Knowledge of frying, sauting, broiling, basting, baking, poaching and roasting.
• Knowledge of proper sanitization techniques.
• Able to produce consistently high-quality food products.
• Able to cook steaks to temperature.
• Self-motivated and dependable.

• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

Physical Demands

• Mobility throughout the facility.
• High level of physical endurance.
• Good coordination and awareness.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to twist, bend and squat frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to tolerate heat and congestion in kitchen.
