Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU Physician Assistant

We are seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant with ICU experience for a daytime locum opportunity. This position offers a 7-on/7-off schedule in a collaborative ICU environment managing critically ill adult patients. Assignment Details Day shift coverage 7-on / 7-off schedule available Local candidates only Schedule 7:00 AM 7:00 PM 12-hour day shifts 7-on / 7-off rotation available Practice Setting Multi-specialty Medical-Surgical Community Hospital Intensive Care Unit Cerner EMR Clinical Responsibilities Perform daily patient assessments Develop and adjust treatment plans with attending physicians Participate in multidisciplinary rounds Interpret diagnostic studies Complete order entry and documentation Documentation History & Physicals Consultations Progress and follow-up notes Procedure notes Procedures Required Central line insertions Vascath placement Introducer placement Arterial line insertions Patient Volume Typical ratio of ICU patients per APP Attending physician support available Requirements Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant NP candidates must be Acute Care Certified Active state and national licensure Minimum 1 2 years of ICU APP experience Proficiency with central and arterial line placement Case logs required during credentialing Apply: Submit CV and procedural experience for consideration.
