Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, entertainment, exercise classes, and social events Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure activities align with residents' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs Conduct needs assessments and surveys to identify areas of interest and develop activities that cater to resident preferences Organize and lead activities, games, and events, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and businesses to secure resources and partnerships Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as needed to ensure high‑quality resident care and satisfaction Prepare and manage the activities budget, ensuring efficient use of resources Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Recreation Therapy, Gerontology, or related field preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior living setting or related field Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with adult learning principles and theories of aging If you are a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for senior living, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
