Overview A young family in Gramercy Park area is seeking an energetic, experienced Live-In (or live-out, if local) German-speaking Nanny to care for their baby boy, who will be born in late October. The family is beginning their search early for a February start. For the right candidate, they are open to an earlier start in January, offering a deposit to secure the perfect fit and have an overlap period with the current baby nurses who are on a 24/7 rotation and are expected to transition out after approximately three months. This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny who is active and excited to grow with a young family. The family is looking for someone with an "au pair" mindset - someone energetic, engaged, flexible, and excited to become a lasting part of the family. German-English bilingual ability is a significant plus, as the family would love for their son to grow up hearing and speaking German. The role is primarily focused on the baby, with a full-time household assistant and housekeepers already in place. The family is looking for someone who will bring energy to the home, take initiative, and grow into the role as the child gets older.
