Reporting Analyst

Job Summary Fully onsite One Western Maryland Parkway Fully onsite One Western Maryland Parkway Hagerstown location: Hagerstown, Maryland job type: Contract to Perm work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required Responsibilities In this role you will assist in ensuring accurate account reconciliation and identifying discrepancies through the analysis of transactions made on different card networks, such as debit cards, fees, and chargebacks. This position leverages methodical precision to examine bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial data to evaluate discrepancies and elevate issues, as needed. An individual in this role is expected to seek opportunities for process enhancements, collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions, and assist in creating procedures for new business, as needed. Job Duties And Responsibilities Monitor and perform daily reconciliations and analysis of bank data for Wire and ACH settlements, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed Work internally to process correcting entries to clients using automated tools as well as manual adjustments Accurately provide daily cash projections and report funding position changes to Treasury throughout the day Collaborate with peers and management for issue remediation and report escalation Maintain accurate record of any reconciliation-related issues Qualifications Ability to analyze and interpret data Comfortable in dynamic environments, able to adjust to changing priorities Proficient in reconciling financial records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy Familiarity with accounting principles, bank statements, and transaction matching Proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating challenges, and planning ahead Effective verbal and written communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with cross-functional teams Preferred Skills, Experience, And Education Display critical thinking to identify and resolve issues timely and effectively Proficient situation and time management capabilities in high pressure situations Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
