Campus Recruiter (Field Recruiter)

We’re looking for a full-time Field Recruiter to help grow the team that powers our full-service catering operation. The Event Staff and Bartenders you’ll be recruiting are the heart and soul of Best Impressions Caterers — the faces our clients see at every wedding, gala, and corporate event we produce. After 30+ years in business, we know that finding the right people is what keeps us moving forward, and we need someone who takes that mission as seriously as we do. We’re looking for someone to take on the field search for Event Staff Team Members and Bartenders — the backbone of our operation. These are part-time and full-time team members who work our shifts at weddings and events, handling everything from serving guests and setting up venues to monitoring buffets and ensuring every event runs seamlessly. This is a high-energy, field-first role. The majority of your time will be spent off-site — on college campuses, at job fairs, and at community events throughout Charlotte — rather than behind a desk. Some of our best hires have come from exactly these moments: a quick conversation at a campus table or a chance meeting at a community event. That’s the kind of recruiter we’re looking for. As our business grows, we need someone 100% focused on building our event staff numbers — someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and can make a strong impression on a candidate in a five-minute conversation. You’ll be the face of Best Impressions Caterers in the field, owning the full recruiting cycle from sourcing to onboarding. Responsibilities Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS Strategize and create weekly and monthly plans with clear goals for in-person recruitment efforts. Actively recruit in the field — campuses, job fairs, community events, various organizations, tabling, and more. Identify strong candidates by deeply understanding what the job entails and successfully relaying those expectations. Connect and maintain relationships with universities, community organizations, and recruitment networks. Conduct full-cycle recruitment: Preparing, Sourcing, Screening, Selecting, Hiring, and Onboarding. Meet weekly with our HR team to share updates on new hires, availability, and key onboarding information. Assess company staffing needs alongside the HR team and build plans to meet them. Continuously identify new connections and methods — we want someone with fresh ideas who isn’t afraid to try something new. Qualifications Background in campus, field, or in-person recruiting. 1+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of relevant work experience. 1+ years of experience managing multiple candidates and tracking pipelines simultaneously. Compensation $52,000-58,000 base salary, depending on experience. This role is also eligible for performance-based bonus and company benefits. Outgoing, confident communicator who thrives in face-to-face environments and can make a strong impression quickly. Self-motivated and disciplined — comfortable owning your schedule and working independently in the field most of the week. Ability to build genuine connections with candidates and maintain lasting relationships with partner organizations and schools. Thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and performs well under pressure. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of candidates at once. A creative problem-solver who will speak up, bring new ideas, and hit the ground running.
