Fusion Dental - Reston is growing, and we're looking for a highly motivated, teamoriented Dental Hygienist to join our longstanding hygiene team! This is a great opportunity for an experienced hygienist or a new graduate who's eager to learn and thrive in a fastpaced, supportive practice.

Schedule

Full Time

• Monday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:45 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday: 7:45 AM - 2:00 PM (alternating Fridays acceptable)

Responsibilities

• Provide highquality preventive and periodontal care with a patientcentered approach.
• Support the doctor through efficient preheats, iTero scans, charting, and communication to set the team up for success.
• Confidently see and treat new patients, ensuring a welcoming and thorough experience.
• Collaborate with multiple doctors and integrate smoothly into a wellestablished hygiene team.
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment needs, and homecare best practices.
• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in compliance with practice and regulatory standards.
• Uphold sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure patient and team safety.
• Contribute positively to a fastpaced, resultsoriented environment with a strong focus on teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Virginia (or the ability to obtain prior to start).
• New graduates encouraged to apply!
• Experience with Dentrix and iTero preferred, but not required-training available.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and team members.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with multiple providers.
• A true team player with the ability to adapt in a busy, dynamic practice.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
