Inventory Control Coordinator

Responsibilities Material movement including loading and unloading trucks and moving material from location to location by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors or other material handling equipment. Prepares outbound shipment of materials including staging, packaging, labeling, counting, and document preparation. Arranges for trucking and communicates with other stakeholders in the shipping process. Will work under the general direction of the site Logistics Coordinator. Take complete responsibility for preparation of shipments by staging, counting, documenting, and packaging materials for safe transport. Process paperwork and arrange for transport through 3rd party provider. Communicate shipments status and other information to necessary FMC personnel. Distribute received shipments by delivering materials to requestor. Process paperwork. Assists in customer audits and cycle counts to support inventory control activities. Use basic computer knowledge to research equipment in SAP and iMan. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent required 2+ years’ experience in receiving, materials, warehousing or related areas in a similar environment Experience in freight traffic coordination and material transportation planning Experience in verifying orders by reviewing shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing slips, delivery notes, purchase orders Knowledge and proficiency in basic PC operation using Microsoft Office, SAP preferred but not necessary.
