What You'll Be Responsible For

As General Manager, you'll oversee the restaurant's overall performance, including:

• Leading, coaching and developing managers and team members
• Interviewing, hiring, training and evaluating employees
• Creating employee and management schedules based on business needs
• Managing approximately 48-50 hours per week across five or more days
• Overseeing front-of-house, drive-thru and back-of-house operations
• Stepping into any restaurant position when business demands require it
• Maintaining high standards for food quality, speed, service and cleanliness
• Managing sales, labor, food costs and other expenses to achieve profitability goals
• Reviewing daily and weekly reports and using results to forecast sales and inventory needs
• Managing inventory, ordering, receiving and product controls
• Reducing waste, shortages and preventable losses
• Completing payroll, accounting and required administrative reporting
• Conducting performance evaluations and holding team members accountable
• Ensuring proper training and development throughout the restaurant
• Resolving customer concerns and protecting customer satisfaction
• Leading local store marketing efforts to help maximize sales
• Maintaining restaurant facilities, equipment and grounds
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures, health regulations and safety standards
• Communicating restaurant performance and needs with company leadership

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience as a Restaurant General Manager in fast food/quick-service OR 2 years as an Assistant Manager
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and P&L management
• Experience managing staffing, scheduling, training and employee development
• Ability to control labor, food and operating costs
• Strong leadership, organization and decision-making skills
• Ability to coach employees, address performance issues and build accountability
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College coursework in management, restaurant management or a related business field preferred
• Valid driver's license
• ServSafe®, Prometric/NEHA or applicable food-safety certification
• Ability to meet company Certified Manager requirements

Schedule Expectations

This is a hands-on restaurant leadership role requiring flexibility based on business needs. The General Manager will typically work 48-50 hours per week over a minimum of five days and must be available for a combination of midshifts, closing shifts and weekends.

Additional hours may occasionally be necessary to meet operational or financial goals.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to remain active throughout restaurant operations and assist wherever needed. Employees must be able to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
