Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse provides comprehensive and compassionate care to critically ill patients. The RN will monitor patient conditions, administer prescribed medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. Monitor patient vitals and assess patient conditions regularly. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians. Perform advanced procedures including central line insertions, arterial line placements, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation through Meditech. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license in the state of Tennessee. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Previous ICU experience preferred.
