Can you interpret complex policy developments and explain what they mean for markets, industries, and the wider economy?

SISEON Strategy Consulting is a Korea-based investment research firm supporting enterprises and investors with specialist research, market intelligence, and strategic insight.

We’re expanding our international expert network and looking for experienced policy researchers, economists, financial market specialists, strategic researchers, and subject-matter experts to support research projects focused on U.S. and international economic and financial developments.

The role

You’ll provide research, analysis, and informed perspectives on areas such as:

• Macroeconomic and financial market trends
• Fiscal and monetary policy
• Financial regulation and regulatory developments
• U.S. Treasury markets and sovereign debt
• Government affairs and public policy
• Economic sanctions and international economic cooperation
• The impact of policy decisions on industries, markets, and investment
• A key part of the role will be interpreting complex developments, identifying their practical implications, and providing clear, well-researched insights.

About you

We’re particularly interested in experienced professionals who offer:

• Strong policy, economic, financial, or strategic research experience
• Excellent analytical and research capabilities
• An understanding of how government and regulatory decisions affect markets
• The ability to turn complex information into clear, meaningful insights
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience gained within or alongside U.S. government agencies, legislative bodies, regulatory organizations, think tanks, policy institutes, international organizations, financial institutions, or similar research environments would be particularly valuable.
