Med Care Manager

Role Overview The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity. This role involves following physician orders, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Administration, and documenting all actions in MAR/TAR in real time. Key duties include observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns promptly, completing narcotic counts, maintaining clean medication carts and rooms, and following infection control and safety standards. The position plays a vital role in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and ensuring resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and compassionate resident care.
