Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Marion, Illinois. This role involves working nights on a 36-bed med/surg/ortho unit with a focus on confident, independent nursing care. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois RN license on the first day. The position starts on July 13, 2026, with a contract length of 13 weeks and a bi-weekly orientation.

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (no pending licenses or temporary permits), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Associate Degree or Certificate, minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience, EPIC charting experience, confident and independent nursing skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Float: Float may be required to Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit for Medical holds only
• Additional Information: Guaranteed hours per week; unit ratios are 1:5 with a CNA, can be 1:4 in staffing shortages; schedule includes every other weekend and holidays as needed; COVID-19 vaccine not required (subject to change); GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week; holiday rotations as scheduled; interviews held Monday through Friday via MSP interview; scrubs are navy blue; no on-call or callback responsibilities.
