As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility. - Collecting soiled laundry from residents' rooms and transporting it to the laundering facility
- Washing, drying, and folding laundry in commercial machines
- Distributing clean laundry to residents
- Delivering soiled linens to the laundry, sorting, washing, and returning clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms
- Cleaning laundry and equipment areas
- Previous experience in laundry, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of infection control practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues
