Marketing Coordinator

Campaigns feel seamless to the audience only when the handoffs behind them are clear. We are looking for a Junior Marketing Coordinator to join an on-site team in Kansas City. The metro's mix of makers, major events, food, sports, culture, healthcare, and growing businesses creates room for marketing that feels both inventive and grounded. Your role is to help different contributors move as one team-from first brief through launch and recap. The handoff is part of the creative work You will connect writers, designers, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders with the information each person needs. That means confirming deliverables, maintaining a visible timeline, recording decisions, and raising missing inputs early. You are not expected to know everything on day one; you are expected to make uncertainty visible and follow through. What lands on your desk Build practical campaign trackers from approved briefs and keep owners and due dates current. Coordinate content schedules, event materials, partner assets, and routine supplier communication. Draft straightforward social, email, and promotional copy for review. Prepare meeting notes and turn decisions into assigned actions. Check final assets against the brief and compile a concise post-campaign recap. Keep the week predictable, not repetitive The position is full-time and on site, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Some days focus on planning and content; others involve venue details, partner updates, or performance reporting. Any exceptional event timing would be discussed in advance rather than treated as an unstated expectation. Build range without being boxed in Experience may come from coursework, internships, student leadership, community projects, hospitality, retail, or an office role. We are interested in examples that show coordination, communication, and ownership.
