Sleep Tech-Polysomnographic Tech-Nights

Polysomnographic Tech to perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, scoring, analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of the department’s assigned leader and/or the medical director. The candidate will adhere to AASM guidelines and departmental policies and procedures when performing job duties. Position Details Department: ER Core Function: Respiratory & Sleep Lab Schedule: Full time, 36 hours/week, nights Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital Education & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Preferred: Accredited associate degree in Polysomnography or completion of a state‑licensed and/or nationally accredited polysomnography program. Preferred: Successful completion of an A‑Steps program or enrollment in an approved A‑Steps program within 6 weeks of hire date. Experience 1–2 years of experience in a sleep lab setting or equivalent healthcare experience preferred. Experience using EPIC or other healthcare‑based data systems preferred. Certifications & Licenses BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required. A‑Steps program completion required within 1 year of hire for non‑RPSGT/RST credentialed applicants. Completion of Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) and/or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) board exams preferred within 2 years of hire date. Meeting eligibility requirements for certification by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) as a RST/RPSGT or equivalent preferred. Compensation Pay range: $26.80 – $40.20 per hour. Actual pay rate will be based on relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.
