Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Nights | Tahlequah, OK | 13 Weeks

Location: W.W. Hastings Hospital – Cherokee Nation, Tahlequah, OK
Position: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (07/06/2026 – 10/03/2026)
Shift: Nights | Monday – Thursday | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 4 x 10-Hour Shifts (40 Hours/Week)
Interview Required: Yes

Position Overview:

W.W. Hastings Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join its laboratory team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Pediatric patient testing and be comfortable working independently on night shift.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Laboratory experience
• Current MLT Certification through ASCP or AMT
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Blood Bank experience required
• Pediatric patient experience required
• Chemistry laboratory experience required
• Experience using Vitros Chemistry Analyzers
• Experience with Ortho Clinical Diagnostics instruments
• Cerner Millennium EMR experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong multitasking and critical thinking skills
• Experience in hospital laboratory settings

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, and Blood Bank departments
• Conduct specimen analysis and ensure accurate reporting of results
• Operate and troubleshoot Vitros and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics analyzers
• Maintain quality control standards and regulatory compliance
• Process pediatric and adult patient specimens
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care
• Accurately document results in Cerner Millennium
