Our customer is looking for a Production Technician. This is a 90 day contract to hire position paying $18/hr to start.
The Production Associate will be responsible for general laborer tasks processing fiber blankets by folding and connecting materials as part of the manufacturing process. This position offers internal training, great pay and benefits, and opportunities for overtime.
Candidate will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities
- Stage, lift, and stack fiber materials to meet customer specifications.
- Process and assemble ceramic fiber blankets by folding and connecting.
- Operate forklifts, cranes, welders, and power tools (training provided).
- Work from elevated platforms such as scaffolding and scissor lifts.
- Participate actively in company-wide safety and housekeeping programs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work extended overtime as needed.
- Basic math skills and ability to use a tape measure.
