- Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Columbus healthcare / Ohio nursing jobs)/n
- Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center, 18-bed Operating Room/n
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract – Travel OR RN / Surgical RN/n
- Start Date: June 1, 2026/n
- End Date: August 31, 2026/n
- Duration: 13 weeks/n
- Shift: Nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week/n
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 – $2,160/n

/n/nRequired Qualifications – Operating Room RN / OR RN/n

/n
- Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience with extensive scrub and circulating experience/n
- Experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers preferred (trauma surgical nursing)/n
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license) — Ohio nursing jobs candidates welcome/n
- Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required/n
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record (EPIC charting)/n
- Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program/n
- Willingness to float to other units within the organization as needed/n
- Two professional references (one from a manager, director, or direct supervisor)/n
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)/n

/n/nPrimary Responsibilities – Perioperative / Surgical RN/n

/n
- Provide comprehensive perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties, acting as both scrub nurse and circulating nurse when needed/n
- Support cases including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries/n
- Focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and complex General Surgery cases/n
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation using the EPIC system/n
- Participate in scheduled call coverage and float to other units as required/n
