About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Implement Montessori curriculum and educational activities tailored to individual student needs.
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
• Observe and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom, ensuring materials are accessible and well-organized.
• Encourage social and emotional development through guided interactions and conflict resolution.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about student progress and school activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Montessori certification preferred.
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting, preferably in a Montessori environment.
• Strong understanding of child development and Montessori principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to different learning styles.
• Passion for nurturing children’s growth and fostering a love for learning.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Background check required prior to employment.
