Social Media Manager (Remote)

Paws of L.A. Rescue is building a new front door to rescue: giving families access to trusted resources, education, and support before a crisis leads to surrender.

Help us tell that story and inspire people to find support before it’s too late.

Responsibilities

  • Post content and engage weekly using the Paws of L.A. Rescue account by responding to DMs/comments/shares that remain consistent with our personality and voice.

Required:

  • Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tool
  • Experience with Photoshop preferred
  • Experience with Google Drive

Bonus points if you:

  • Have a knack for creative copy writing
  • Are a Los Angeles local and familiar with the community (Not required!)

Your Resources:

  • Access to CanvaPro and our Brand Guidelines outlining brand voice/personality/purpose/look and feel.
  • Our Executive Director and team to help get you started with brainstorming content strategy topics, our content calendar and analytic reports.

Time Commitment:

2-3 hours a week for the rest of 2026, although we do not have a time requirement since you lead the content, we'd like you to remain active in our social media outlets minimum 1 time weekly
