Amerex - 2nd Shift Customer Order Processor/Material Handler

The Customer Order Processor is responsible for the reconciliation of incoming and outgoing materials and movement of finished goods and material. Move material to appropriate areas throughout the plant and document in accordance with established procedures. Load/Unload trucks and document transaction in accordance with established procedures.

Responsibilities include moving freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, sorting cargo before loading and unloading, attaching identifying tags to containers, reading work orders or receiving oral instructions to determine work assignments, maintaining equipment storage areas, packing containers, operating moving or lifting equipment, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with inventory tracking software desired, and the ability to pass "Forklift Certification" process.

Working conditions may involve potential exposure to hazardous materials, environmental changes, and the ability to work under stress. Physical requirements include lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds, sitting, climbing, balancing, and walking.
