This position is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' property through visible presence, proactive enforcement of security protocols, and the appropriate use of firearms, if applicable. You will be entrusted with a significant responsibility, and we are looking for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional professionalism, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.To excel in this role, a Security Operations Supervisor must remain highly alert and maintain a professional demeanor. It is important to be able to maintain a calm disposition during intense situations, be able to make appropriate decisions, and communicate with skills reflecting strong verbal de-escalation and customer service.Scheduling:Open Shift Availability requiredFull-Time ScheduleTraining period salary $41,000/year in the first two months (training period); automatically increases to $46,000/year upon completion of training period.Job Responsibilities:Job responsibilities change dependent upon site/venueCreating guards schedules for your designated siteFinding coverage for call-insEnsuring work is done correctly and meeting organizational standardsUphold and maintain all site procedures and standardsRemain vigilant to maintain site safetySwiftly address any violations/trespassingUtilize excellent customer service skillsCommunicate rules effectively as neededCommunicate with police and/or other staff members appropriatelyShould be familiar with company rules, safety regulations, and operational procedures to ensure that the team is following the correct protocols.Requirements:Prior security experience is preferredPrior management experience is preferredValid Michigan Concealed Pistol License is preferredFlexible availabilityMust be 18 years of ageMust have high school diploma or equivalentBackground checks are required (Felonies and certain misdemeanors disqualify)Drug screen requiredAbility to maintain focus and strong attention to detailMust be able to sit/stand or walk for extended periods of timeMust maintain professional appearance and uphold company standards of behaviorReliable transportation is necessary
