Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg background with critical thinking skills License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, HS AED, NIHSS, PEARS Must-Have: Active RN license 3 years of Med-Surg experience Description: Responsible for managing individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process. Follows departmental and hospital policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice. Utilizes equipment such as Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations. Requires completion of medication testing within the first two weeks on-site. Unit-specific training includes a 3-day training program on Meditech and OBIX. Follows nursing standards regarding nurse-to-patient ratios. Dress code is scrubs, which will be provided. Flexibility to call off with no penalty, with up to 24 hours' notice during the assignment. Must adhere to unit protocols and attend to patient needs appropriately.
