Vehicle Assembly Line Design Lead (Industrial Engineering) Imagine this scenario

Takt is set. Demand is rising. Your task: architect a vehicle assembly system that scales without chaos. Where do you begin? You start at the system level — shaping the end-to-end line, stitching in feeder cells, and engineering a layout that lets people and parts move effortlessly. You probe constraints, tune the flow, and validate decisions with cost-per-unit and labor models. And while you’re building the system, you’re also building the team by mentoring Level I–II IEs.

What you will take on

• Lead development of complete vehicle assembly lines to stable, predictable operation.
• Architect feeder cell integration so inputs arrive exactly when and where they are needed.
• Redesign facility layouts to streamline paths and improve throughput.
• Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks using structured problem solving.
• Create scalable production models to support growth plans.
• Perform cost-per-unit analysis and labor optimization modeling to guide trade-offs.
• Mentor Level I–II industrial engineers and raise the bar on execution.
