Key Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Thursday through Sunday
• On-call and call back required
• Weekend rotation included
• Holiday coverage expected (unless pre-approved off)

Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Proven experience as an IR Tech in a clinical setting
• Proficiency with vascular and non-vascular procedures
• Strong knowledge of patient safety protocols and radiation safety
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt swiftly to new clinical settings and protocols

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain imaging equipment for interventional radiologic procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff
• Apply aseptic techniques and assist with sterile field preparation
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond promptly to changes
• Accurately document imaging results and procedural details in electronic medical records
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled, including weekends and holidays
