Potential monthly on‑site inspection. Candidate preference: Local to NJ strongly preferred; must be able to come onsite 3+ days per week and have reliable transportation. Responsibilities Provide program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects in compliance with the BPU Order and CLIENT procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness. Develop and maintain the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs. Interface with CLIENT associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure Program rules and requirements are maintained, projects are cost effective and information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely. Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight. Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction. Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors; review vendor deliverables; monitor vendor performance and review/process vendor invoices. Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices. Compile and analyze data from various projects and sources to monitor the status of customer projects and report to management. Projects may include installation of various energy conservation measures (ECMs) such as HVAC, lighting, motors, energy management systems, etc. Analyze performance results for management reports; provide monthly project status forecasts. Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary. Perform project site visits as required. During storm restoration efforts, may be required to perform functions outside of routine duties and on a schedule that may differ from normal operations. Qualifications B.S. Degree plus 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields. Equivalently, 9 years of experience in the space of energy efficiency programs, construction, or related field. Experience processing milestone-based construction payments and forecasting financial spend. Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, implementation, and cost. Demonstrated excellent communication skills (oral and written). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word). Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail. Knowledge of CLIENT's CEF energy efficiency order and related frameworks such as the NJ Cost Test. Ability to travel within Client territory to conduct meetings with customers, perform inspections, and manage relationships with contractors. Valid U.S. driver's license desired. Vendor management and invoicing skills. Building Performance Institute Certifications preferred. Certified Energy Manager preferred.
