Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 60 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - United Health Services.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac telemetry RN stepdown/PCU experience required. - Experience in a cardiac telemetry department: experience with TAVR, Watchman, mitral clips, heart catheterizations, preop/post op open heart (when transferred out of CVICU), cardiac IV and PO, cardiac drips at a flat rate (cardizem, amiodarone, dobutamine, lidocaine, milrinone, heparin, insulin), anticoagulant, CHF, CP, arrhythmias, NSTEMI, STEMI, PE, post op CABG greater than 3 days, sepsis, PNA, stroke, observation patients, use TR band, groin management, and be familiar with complications. - Management Experience of zero (0) - three (3) years. - Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months - three (3) years. - Five plus (5) + years of direct experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Previous clinical nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Required Credentials: - A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. - Include telemetry skills checklist

Preferred Credentials: - Professional certification in a related nursing specialty. - Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years
