Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections

This position offers you the chance to provide essential nursing care in a secure correctional health setting. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized care for a diverse patient population, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and documenting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, hold a current Texas RN license or valid Compact RN license, and have at least two years of nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network is required. Recommended skills include strong clinical assessment, effective communication, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in correctional or specialty care settings and proficiency with EMR systems are valuable.
