Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to advance professional development. Serve as a resource for clinical inquiry, guiding the identification of potential projects and providing subject matter expertise. Champion a spirit of inquiry by supporting research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement initiatives using preferred methodologies (e.g., PDSA). Drive collaborative problem-solving and support the implementation of meaningful change. Foster a supportive environment for nursing research, scientific inquiry, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice. Disseminate evidence-based findings through education programs, courses, and other developmental activities. Model professional standards to inspire alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Effective professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills. [Required] Knowledge of the American Nurses Association (ANA)/Association of Nursing Professional Development (ANPD) scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development. [Required] Working knowledge of word processing, data management, email, and presentation applications. [Preferred] Self-directed, creative, and demonstrates initiative to support the seven roles of the NPD practitioner: learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for inquiry, advocate for the NPD specialty, and partner for practice transitions. [Preferred] Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards (e.g., CMS, OSHA) for professional specialty served.
