RN Emergency Dept/Critical Care Float
The RN Emergency Dept/Critical Care Float assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting and critical care areas as determined based on experience, skill and competency. The RN Emergency Dept/Critical Care Float must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other life sustaining measures for the patients under their care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
- Minimum of one year emergency room and critical care experience preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
