(9300 m2) facility near Charlotte (Stanley), NC is home to: America’s largest inventory of material handler repair parts and major components A dedicated training facility for hands‑on instruction for parts and service technicians, operators and sales consultants Engineering services for customization of Sennebogen equipment Description Responsible for developing, preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs for dealers, customers, service technicians, authorized service providers (ASPs), and internal personnel. This role delivers both classroom‑based instruction and hands‑on machine training covering troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair procedures, hydraulic and electrical systems, equipment operation, spare parts look‑up, maintenance, and safety. The Technical Trainer creates and updates course materials, training aids, presentations, assessments, and practical exercises that strengthen participant knowledge, improve problem‑solving skills, and support consistent service practices across Sennebogen equipment. Responsibilities Prepare, conduct, and evaluate technical training programs for dealers, customers, technicians, ASPs, and internal teams Create instructor materials including classroom agendas, course outlines, background materials, instructional guides, training aids, and practical exercises while ensuring quality and consistency of course content throughout the course life cycle Assess training needs and certification requirements Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills Coordinate training schedule with service administer Create and execute pre‑ and post‑tests Create PowerPoint presentations and classroom demonstrations to explain hydraulic, electrical, and machine control circuits Deliver classroom instruction on hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, safety, and troubleshooting theory Teach participants how to perform pressure checks, electrical testing, diagnostic procedures, and hands‑on repairs directly on machines Prepare training machines with faults and guide participants through logical problem‑solving using schematics, service information, test equipment, and diagnostic reasoning Facilitate classroom discussion, group activities, and applied problem‑solving scenarios that reinforce safe, accurate, and efficient troubleshooting methods Prepare and conduct training for spare parts personnel on how to use spare parts manuals as well as providing guidance to participants on the familiarity and safety of machines Perform tours of warehouse facility while explaining company philosophy on supporting customers while explaining processes/procedures Create training videos for maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs Maintain and organize the training facility and keep supplies inventoried for training building Qualifications / Requirements Strong understanding of heavy equipment systems, diagnostics, maintenance, repair procedures, and effective methods for teaching technical concepts Demonstrate a professional customer‑centric attitude at all times and interact with individuals at all levels from mechanics to management Excellent prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions quickly. 3+ years' experience in a customer facing role Bachelor's degree is desired, particularly in the areas of business or engineering. Equivalent work experience may be accepted Highly motivated, detail‑oriented, self‑starter and demonstrated follow up Excellent communication and classroom facilitation skills with proven ability to speak confidently and professionally in small and large group settings, present technical information clearly, and develop well‑organized written training materials Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop high‑quality working relationships both internally and externally Demonstrates high level of accountability and professionalism in all dealings Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues, guide students through diagnostic processes, and recommend practical service solutions Thorough knowledge of the MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Ability to work independently while coordinating activities with a variety of large teams Strong planning and organizational skills including demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced work environment Must have a passport and clean driving record Why Consider Sennebogen?
