Description Specialization: Pediatric Job Summary: Savannah's only free-standing Children's hospital is seeking a board-certified/eligible pediatric hospitalist physician. Qualified Candidates: Board certified/eligible in pediatric hospitalist medicine Work 26 weeks per year 7 AM to 5 PM daily on weekdays Home call with infrequent on-site calls Weeknight call rotation among group members Weekend call coverage from Friday night to Monday morning, with backup on weekends Work with pediatric residents Manage a 14-bed general pediatric unit in the Children's hospital Incentive/Benefits Package: Employed opportunity through HCA Healthcare Competitive compensation Comprehensive, flexible health and benefits package 401(k), PTO, and CME time/allowance About Memorial Health University Medical Center: 622-bed regional referral center Level I trauma center Level III NICU Children’s hospital Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI Serves 35 counties across southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina NurseOne and 24-hour call center EPIC EMR System Savannah campus of Mercer University School of Medicine Dedicated to graduate medical education programs in various specialties, including pediatrics About Children’s Hospital at Memorial Health: Region's only comprehensive children’s healthcare Four pediatric ORs 18-bed Emergency Department 50 inpatient pediatric beds, including PICU Dedicated pediatric sedation, child life, rehabilitation, and more Savannah offers a charming Southern experience with art, history, architecture, trendy boutiques, and ghost stories under Spanish moss.
