Job Summary

The Janitorial/Residential Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of commercial and residential facilities. Duties include routine cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, floor care, and maintaining a safe and professional environment for clients and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, bedrooms(residential), and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all assigned areas
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Clean windows, mirrors, glass, and other surfaces
• Restock paper products, soap, and cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Follow company cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Maintain professionalism while working at client locations
• Complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail

Work Schedule

Schedules may vary and may include daytime, evening, overnight, weekends, or holidays depending on client needs.
